Our Clubhouse.                 In Association with Amazon.co.uk

Your host and club steward is Tony Handley whose player profile has now been removed from this site as his rugby career is now completed, despite a rumour in the Wales on Sunday during 2003-4. It would be unfair to resurect this profile as it had him down as 5ft 11inches and 19stone 2 pounds. Neither would it be right to give away his age although those that send him birthday cards have been doing so since 12th October 1968.

Tony is keen that members use the excellent facilities more and, as you are probably aware, members can hire rooms at the clubhouse, free of charge. The bar (Weddings, engagements, birthdays, discos, barbecues) holds 120 people while for smaller gatherings, the lounge holds 60. There are also conference rooms where businesses hold closed meetings and there is also a food preparation facility. See Tony to hire these rooms or speak to The Dog (see Committee Members Page for The Dogs contact details.) Or e mail me here and I will pass the booking request on to Tony - webmaster@llantwit-rugby.co.uk

SPECIAL OFFER Tony has offered, for a limited time (but at least between now and next Christmas) that non-members will be able to book the halls FREE OF CHARGE. Simply ring the number below, speak to Tony and tell him that you are booking via the Llantwit web site and claim free hire. Please note that all parties and functions at the Clubhouse (or indeed any other venue) must now, by law, have a doorman. If you are unable to supply a doorman then the club can arrange one at the cost of the person hiring the clubhouse.

The Llantwit Fardre clubhouse is situated at The Parade, Church Village, Llantwit Fardre CF38 1BU. Tel 01443-202461 and is most active after games on a Saturday night. That is not to say that it is quiet at other times during the week.

Tuesdays - A well established card school (non gambling) takes place in the bar area every Tuesday and is well attended - new members always welcome.

Thursdays - The club is host to two darts teams and will make more if interested players come forward. The teams play in a league where there is an 'in house' rivalry as well as inter club rivalry.
