Press Release - Former Welsh International Geraint Lewis Signs as Player / Forwards Coach for Llantwit Fardre RFC
Newly promoted Llantwit Fardre pulled off a close season coup by signing ex Welsh International Geraint Lewis as their new forwards coach and player.
Geraint, who started his rugby career with Fardre, has played in the back row for Pontypridd, Swansea, Rotherham, Bath and Bristol in the past as well as picking up sixteen Welsh caps between 1998 and 2001.

Head Coach, Steve Goddard, said " It's great to see Geraint return to Llantwit after a very successful professional career. We are overjoyed to have his services and I am personally looking forward to coaching alongside Geraint and having his valuable input during training and on the field of play. He will be a great asset to our young developing side."
The squad will not have long to wait to meet their new forwards coach as training starts at 6.30pm on Tuesday 30th June at which point any new players wishing to join this Division Two East side should turn up and introduce themselves.
As the new season starts, Fardre will be looking to strengthen their committee numbers and also the number of match day stewards without who the games could not be played. All are welcome to contact the club or any committee member if they are available.
